THE KNOWING
by
APURVA SANJAY MALEWAR

In this world of humanity, we see the lack of kindness among the people, and the urge of greed soaring rapidly, that eats away one very important emotion called trust.
Charles Darwin one said during his times the world is a jungle, and survival of the fittest was the key to survival, but I beg to differ, I do understand that the survival of the fittest does ring a bell, but to me it looks like the survival is just a theme, borne by mankind, endured by him in order to make ends meet. I wonder what has this world come to, I ponder upon the way man has been living his life, the way he fails to see what lies ahead and what he is deemed to do. I fail to see the lack of trust and the lack of better judgment man has towards his own people, People who were once his friends, family or just acquaintances that really mattered the most. It's not like we are in a war zone, where we live in fear, not like the ghettos of the World War 2, not like the fear of the unknown, where we have the forces of hell out to get us, its just simple living that we are doing. Living terms of a blissful life. Under stressful conditions. Conditions that wreck our minds, the nerves that are unstable, we resort to the leisure’s of a drink or a smoke to calm us down, drugs that show us the heavens of bliss, but why do we need them? When we are not living under a war zone, not living under the threat of being assassinated, it’s not a feeling of fright that we endure.

What is it I wonder? Is it because we are responsible for our families? Is it because we make some wrong choices and we find no way out of it? Is it because we are responsible for a lot of people depending on us? If that is the case we should be proud of who and what we are. We are responsible for lot of people; our actions would speak louder than words. I know a lot of people, who do not live by whining and crying, they say, that they can't get by, doing that, and it helps no one. How true!!! I wish the world understood that, When we see someone an speak to someone why do we have to look at it in terms of "Whets in it for me?" why cant we enjoy the simple pleasures of a nice stimulating intellectual conversation, why do we always have to be the sons of fortune, seeing to get richer by the day, whets with greed? Has it taken away our conciseness? Or did we forget that there is something called being ethical and civic from deep down our minds and our hearts. Is this what our elders have taught us, I do not think so? Maybe yeah some who come from broken homes are so broken by their lives that the way to insanity gives them pleasure, and such poor should find pleasure in others misery.

But then I do know a lot of individuals, who come from broken and insane homes, who want to make their lives and give their kins the best, a good home with values is what they look at, Greed is something they can forgo, they do not need that. It's from such individuals do we get to learn a lot out of life. Life is a strange phenomena, If we are strong at will, we might listen to our hearts and help the right ones lead us to righteousness, but the weak are the ones destined to tread the paths of hell. Those who get easily influenced by the demons of vanity, prejudice, the realms of greed, these vices would eat upon your soul and make it as coarse and hard as a stone. Who would want a soul like that, am sure the ones who do not tread the right paths, do fear consequences, and yes these consequences will come by and take away everything from you.

Remember what goes around comes around. This is true, if you have seen life, you will know that it is not right to mock at the ones who do not share the ethic that you do, ethics bound by uncivil, down trodden thinking of the vices that feast upon your soul, its not character, character shows, but the dirt and the rot that feasts upon the soul of a dirty mind cannot be seen, its the character that says, look upon thee, and open your eyes, wake up... for what you see and hear in front of you, is a disciple who is bound to follow through hell, and its his destiny that he has chosen to be in, do not get influenced by his vices, for you will along with him burn in hell.

That's why we stick to our kind and birds of the same feather flock together.

  6. I am glad to read a piece of ya mature mind. You're indeed maturer than your age Apurva. :)

And also, it is indeed good, that you can think so deep about the things and people around you. That's the knowing, the self-steered realisation, introspection, which most of the beings fail to do.

Most of people on this earth are surviving to sustain this life blindly towards the finale, which is same for all. They take birth, grow, learn, find ways to accumulate, give birth to other being/s, teach them how to accumulate and then die. Some accumulate more than they they need, that's greed which is increasingly on growth in this yug that's the Era of Kaal. Greed is one of it's vices.

The realisation of purpose of this life i.e. the knowing can only bring any difference in the beauty of the way we reach the finale. And you Apurva are heading beautifully for sure.

    Stay Beautiful Dear
    and
    Keep Shining :)

  7. Suvival of fittest might be applicable in jungle... but we are neither living in any jungle nor we are jungalis... there has to be some difference between being wild & being human... n that's what "The knowing" is... as you have rightly said Apurva... n if we would just realize 1 thing - why we are made different & better than the other species... to be born with a heart & a mind, which when would work in harmony, may actually bring harmony all around... n this lovely world would be actually beautiful when people have beauteous heart, lovely mind & winsome soul... :)
